The Nevadaworks Youth Council is composed of partners who are committed to helping young people (ages 16–24) in Northern Nevada explore careers, build skills and find meaningful work.

Members represent education, workforce development, healthcare, government and community services. Together, these organizations work to create opportunities and remove barriers for young people entering the workforce.

The Youth Council meets quarterly to guide strategy and support youth workforce programs across Northern Nevada. By discussing project updates, planning efforts and opportunities to shape initiatives, these meetings help ensure programs stay aligned with the needs of youth, employers and the community.

Youth Council meetings are open to anyone interested in learning more about the Council’s work—no RSVP necessary. You can attend virtually or in person to participate in discussions or simply observe. For virtual meeting invites, please fill out the form to be added to our mailing list.
